Product & Platform — Seattle, WA
Twenty years cutting the pattern before the product
I build the platform other products get built on — loyalty, reviews, fraud, and profile systems at Uber, TikTok, Expedia, and Amazon. Get the pattern right, and everything cut from it fits.
Intro
Every role starts the same way: a product needs a capability that doesn't exist yet, so I cut the pattern underneath it first. At Amazon that was a profile platform that Fashion, The Drop, and Luxury Stores were all built on top of. At Expedia it was Open World, a white-label platform that let partner brands run Expedia's travel technology as their own. At TikTok Shop it was a reviews platform built as a service, with GenAI summaries shipped on top of it a year later. At Uber it's Top Shopper, built by extending the Earner loyalty platform into grocery.
The throughline is trust. Fraud services, review integrity, loyalty economics, and ranking systems are the same problem in different markets: give people a reason to believe what they're seeing, and the commerce follows.
Case Studies
01
Uber
2025 – Present · Lead Manager, Product · Grocery & Retail Fulfillment
Extended Uber's Earner loyalty platform (Eats Pro) into a grocery-specific tier system, then ran it as player-coach across a five-seat PM team. Piloted across 41 cities before the national launch.

TikTok Shop
2023 – 2025 · Head of Product (GPM), PDP, Reviews & Trust
Built the reviews platform as a service — collection and incentives, ranking and integrity, third-party syndication — then led the GenAI review summarization that shipped on top of it, feeding merchant tooling as well as the product detail page. Led a four-seat PM team across Reviews and PDP.

Expedia
2020 – 2023 · Director of Product, Social Commerce & Platform Solutions
Led the Open World platform, letting partner brands run Expedia's travel technology as their own — Amex Travel, powered by Expedia, is the public example. Owned API and SDK development for Fraud, Hotel Booking, and Loyalty as a Service, externalizing each to the B2B market. Separately, authored one of Expedia's first white papers on social commerce, got it funded, and launched the team behind the company's Meta and TikTok shopping partnerships.

Amazon
2017 – 2019 · Lead PM (Technical), Fashion Personalization & Social Commerce
Built the profile platform that Amazon Fashion's personalization strategy, The Drop, and Luxury Stores were each built on top of. Earlier, owned the Fresh and Prime Now delivery experience as Senior PM (Technical).
